Hot water extraction is a professional cleaning method that is used for carpets, rugs, upholstery, and even mattresses. We use this method because it is the best. It works great against the typical stains that end up on domestic carpets. Here is how we use this method as part of our carpet cleaning service.

As usual, the carpets and the rugs that are to be cleaned are examined by the technician. Then he will pretreat them by vacuuming and applying a special detergent to any visible stains. Then it is time for the deep cleaning. The technician will slide the cleaning wand over the pile of every carpet and rug. It injects hot water and detergent deep between the fibres of the fabric. This effectively dislodges the accumulated dirt and dust. While all this is happening, there is a suction attachment that is working, removing all the water and dislodged dirt.

When all the items are cleaned to perfection, the technician will apply a stain protection product all over them to ensure they won't be soiled anytime soon.

This way, all the accumulated dirt, skin flakes, dust, and hairs stick to the powder. After that, the piece is once again vacuumed and the powder is removed. This way the carpet is left refreshed and deodourised without the use of any water.
