How is your Christmas tree collection different from the council’s?
Most London councils collect on set days in early January. They often only take trees up to 6ft, or cut up, left at the kerb by 6–7am, and in some boroughs only for garden waste subscribers. We collect on any day you choose, any size, from inside your home. Our team wears overshoes and hoovers up the needles, and we cover anyone in London. Council collection is included in council tax; ours price is £59, and is included in our Christmas tree packages that come with collection.
When is Christmas tree collection in London in 2027?
Each council sets its own dates, usually for one to three weeks from early January. Last season, most London councils stopped between 6 and 23 January. We collect on any day and time.
What if I missed my council’s Christmas tree collection?
London council Christmas tree collections often stop by mid-January. Some councils only collect from garden waste subscribers or ask for trees over 6ft to be cut down. If you’ve missed yours, we’ll collect your Christmas tree from your home, whatever its size, on any day. You can also take it to a council drop-off point if one is still open, or book the council’s paid bulky waste collection.

If your tree package includes collection, it’s already covered. Book your collection day online, in the GoFantastic app or by calling 020 8066 1436. Have your order number ready; it’s in your confirmation email.
How do I dispose of my Christmas tree in London?
You have four options: your council's kerbside collection (usually early January only), a council drop-off point, a charity or hospice collection for a donation, or a private collection like ours on any day. Don't leave the tree on the pavement outside a collection day, as councils can treat it as fly-tipping.
Do you collect Christmas trees bought from other shops or markets?
Yes. We collect any real Christmas tree in London, wherever you bought it, for £59. There are no council dates to wait for: pick any date.
Can you collect a tree taller than 6ft?
Yes. We collect trees of any size, so you don't need to cut it up as some councils ask.
Do you collect Christmas trees from flats?
Yes. Our team, in overshoes, carries the tree out of your flat and down the stairs, so you don't have to drag it to the bins. Tell us any entry code and where to park when you book.
Do you clean up the pine needles?
Yes. Our team brings a hoover and cleans up the fallen needles once your tree is out. They wear overshoes too, so nothing gets trodden through your home. If needles have been trodden into the carpet over the holidays, our carpet cleaning service can give it a deep clean.
What do I need to do before you collect my tree?
Take off all lights, decorations and tinsel, and lift the tree out of its stand. Then tell us any entry code, where to park and where the tree will be, either when you book or by replying to your confirmation email. If you won't be in, leave the tree by your front door, in a porch or front garden (not on the pavement).
What happens to my tree after collection?
We take it to a licensed green waste site, where it's chipped for mulch or compost.
Do you collect artificial Christmas trees?
