Deep upholstery & sofa cleaning service

Rarely do people realise that their sofas need some form of maintenance. With time, they accumulate a considerable amount of dust and are surely crawling with those microscopic bugs called dust mites. For the purpose of refreshing your sofa, we can apply Hot Water Extraction which is quite effective as it deals very well with accumulated dirt and many types of household stains.

We recommend that you get your upholstery sofa cleaned by a professional once a year to keep it clean and extend its lifespan. We clean sofas, chairs, curtains, drapery, and anything else upholstered with high-end technology. We also determine which cleaning method to use depending on the type of fabric, which can be Haitian cotton, velour, brushed corduroy, leather, etc. However, please keep in mind that some stains actually cause damage to the fabric and can’t be removed completely.

You can also book upholstery antiviral sanitisation, which destroys 99.99% of bacteria and viruses. The antiviral upholstery sanitisation service can be booked ONLY in combination with steam cleaning.

Deep sofa steam cleaning

Stain pretreatment - The technician will determine the type of stain and apply the most suitable detergent. He brings a variety of detergents that are specialised for the removal of certain stains – coffee, greasy food, blood, ink, crayon, vomit, you name it. However, keep in mind that there are some stains that permanently damage the fabric and can't be removed, for instance.

Hot Water Extraction - We've set it as a standard for quality. It is the most effective upholstery cleaning method to date. A high-end professional machine is used to inject hot water deep between the fibre. This effectively dislodges the accumulated grime and dust. The nozzle has a suction attachment that almost simultaneously removes about 95% of the moisture from the textile (along with any dislodged dirt).

This way you are left with a perfectly cleaned and deodorised upholstery that will air dry on its own in a few hours.

Sofa dry cleaning for delicate materials

Dry solvent cleaning

The detergent used for this type of upholstery does not contain and does not require the use of water at all. It is specifically designed to connect with dirt on a microscopic level. Once properly applied, the detergent is then removed with a vacuum cleaner, which also effectively rids the treated upholstery of any residing dirt.

Dry foam cleaning

Low moisture detergent is applied to the fabric after the pretreatment. It is rubbed in with a rotating brush, which is absolutely safe for the fabric. In the end, the foam is vacuumed off and you're left with a well-refreshed upholstery.

NOTE: Each cleaning solution is carefully picked to match your furniture’s properties in order to rejuvenate its colour and avoid discoloration. Our professional leather cleaning service, for example, is fully capable of dry cleaning your leather and suede sofa to perfection.

Frequently asked questions

  • Q: Do you use chemicals for the cleaning?

A: Yes, and the detergents used in the service are perfectly safe for your family and pets. But in case you are sensitive to certain chemicals, then please warn us in advance so that we can provide you with a suitable alternative.

  • Q: How can I get a discount on this service or at least some kind of deal?

A: You can join the Fantastic Club for access to all kinds of perks, such as special rates for our entire range of services.

  • Q: How much does it cost to get upholstery cleaned?

A: Usually, the cost to clean an armchair ranges from £22, for a two-seater sofa from £51. The most common price forming factors are the type of furniture, fabric and cleaning method.

  • Q: How much does it cost to have a couch professionally cleaned?

A: The cost to get you couch professionally cleaned is based mainly on its size and the cleaning method. For a loveseat or a two-seater sofa, you can expect to pay around £51. For a couch with three seats, the price is usually between £80. You will also get a stain protection treatment for free.

  • Q: What areas do you cover?

A: We perform professional upholstery cleaning anywhere in London. Our coverage spreads across the whole M25 zone and the rest of South East England. Our services are also available in Guildford, Hemel Hempstead, Reading, Slough, St. Albans and Oxford. If you are not sure about your area, please contact us.

  • Q: How much time will it take for the upholstery/mattress to dry off?

A: Usually, it takes from 4 to 8 hours for most types of upholstery. However, mattresses take a little bit longer – between 12 to 24 hours. Of course, a lot depends on the room temperature and the air flow. Upon your request, your sofa cleaning specialist can place an air mover near the cleaned item to speed up the drying process.

  • Q: How can I know what method is suitable for my upholstered items?

A: It is okay if you are unaware of this, we will pick the most suitable way to clean them. However, here are some of the codes found on labels: S: solvents only, no water. Item can be dry cleaned; X: vacuum or brushing only. No water. Item cannot be deep cleaned; W: water is safe. Item can be steam cleaned; WS: mild detergent or dry foam cleaner. Dry treatment is suggested.

  • Q: What about parking fees?

A: The price you will be quoted for your service does not include parking and congestion charges so we kindly ask you to take care of them or, if possible, ensure there will be a free parking space near your property (within 20 meters) before the service takes place because the technician is bringing a lot of equipment.

  • Q: What if the upholstery is damaged during the cleaning procedure?

A: The chance of something like this happening is very slim. However, in case an accident occurs, keep in mind that this upholstered furniture cleaning service is 100% insured and you will be completely compensated.

  • Q: How does steam cleaning work on upholstery?

A: Steam cleaning, as the name suggests, uses water under pressure to create steam with which the fabric furniture is treated. The water under pressure is powerful enough to remove most of the dust and debris on the fabric yet gentle enough not to tear the textile. It is important to know whether your upholstered furniture can be steam cleaned. If unsure, you can call our customer service who will be happy to assist you.

  • Q: How can I make changes to my upholstery cleaning booking?

A: Do you have a Fantastic account? Simply set it up and go to the Dashboard where you can easily manage your bookings.

  • Q: What are your work hours?

A: Our services are available all week long, from 7 am to 6 pm, and even the weekends and bank holidays are fine. We're quite flexible, so evening appointments can be arranged as well, but keep in mind that some of the equipment is quite noisy and it can be a bit disturbing for your neighbours.
