Weston-super-Mare has a broad mix of housing, from Victorian terraces and 1930s semis through to newer estate properties and seafront flats. In many of these homes, the kitchen layout makes oven cleaning awkward, with limited counter space, low-level units, or appliances tucked under overhanging cabinetry. Our technicians are used to working in all of these environments.
On arrival, the technician checks the oven condition and switches off the power if needed before starting work. Removable parts are taken out carefully and placed in a portable dip tank with a heated citric acid solution. This is left to work on the carbonised grease while the technician moves through the interior of the oven, cleaning the back wall, side panels, roof, and base using appropriate tools and solutions for each surface type.
Particular care is taken around the door seal, which can degrade if cleaned too aggressively. Once the soaking is complete, parts are removed, cleaned off, dried, and refitted in the correct order. The oven door glass is polished last, inside and out, before a final inspection confirms the job is complete.
